The perspective on actual topic
“Stable and healthy family as the basis of the society’s progress” was the title of the round-table initiated and organized by the Central Council of the PDPU in Almazar district of the capital. Among the participants were representatives of PDPU’s parliamentary faction in national parliament and Tashkent city council, as well as representatives of the electorate, mass-media and employees of the Republican ophthalmological clinic.

Priorities are clarified
Declaring the 2012 as the Year of the Family, President Islam Karimov in his speech emphasised a number of tasks and priorities that should be accomplished in 2012. This was the theme of the seminar in Sirdarya province. The PDPU’s parliamentarians participating in the event offered several recommendations and proposals on the improvement of the legislation aimed at moral and financial support of the newly-weds, as well as further strengthening of the institution of the family.

Throughout January the Central Council of the PDPU will conduct round tables dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of the Uzbekistan.
All in all, 14 economic forums were conducted during the year 2011, which lead to more than hundred employment opportunities at the local, community levels. This is the practical help for the socio-economic development of the regions. The project of economic forums was positively acclaimed in 2011 and will be continued in the year 2012 as well. Further prospects for even more effective work in this direction were opened by the declaration of the 2012 as the Year of the Family.

On December 15, the Executive Committee of the Central Council of People's Democratic Party, along with the PDPU’s Faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis has held joint meeting at Expocenter in Tashkent. Among the participants of the event there were members of the Central Council of People's Democratic Party, members of the PDPU Faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, chairmen of regional party organizations and the representatives of party groups in local councils.
